Roma is a British composer for film, television, theatre and events based in the beautiful North East of England.
Her varied work for film includes feature doc No One Told Me, sci-fi comedy drama Pinky, hard-hitting dramatisation of the UK’s criminal justice systems Sugar (BBC iPlayer) and shorts Washington and Vine (starring The Chilling Tales of Sabrina’s Gavin Leatherwood),  The Mime (Hulu/FX) and folk thriller Ruby.  
Roma’s music has been featured in television shows including HBO’s Emmy winning Mare of Easttown, Emmy nominated A Year in Space (TIME/PBS), BBC/Netflix’s Rebel Cheer Squad ad she has scored ad campaigns for Google Health, UEFA Champions League and Barker & Stonehouse.
In 2021, Roma was also commissioned by the British Library to write Animal Orchestra, a four movement work created using sounds from the library’s iconic nature archive of animal and bird sounds. Her cinematic style is also sought after for theatre and large scale events including the cultural pieces which opened  and closed the Rugby World cup in 2022, The British Library’s “Nature at Night” Commission  and most recently Resurgam, a once in a lifetime event which saw San Francisco based Vertical Dance legends Bandaloop perform to Roma’s bespoke score on the South Facade of St Paul’s Cathedral. Roma’s theatre work includes the critically acclaimed UK premiere of Claudia Rankine’s The White Card and the UK Theatre Award winning world stage premiere of Ken Loach and Paul Laverty’s I, Daniel Blake.
